Kathryn Ruemmler is Obama’s New White House Counsel

This is not the first time Ruemmler has been inside the White House: Before her current post, she was Obama’s principal associate deputy attorney general. She was also in Clinton’s cabinet as associate counsel from 2000 to 2001. Between those jobs, she was a partner at Latham & Watkins and served six years as a federal prosecutor.
